Mrs Bridget Hemmant

I have been a consultant in the NHS for 22 years in Norfolk and and prior to that at the Royal Free in Hampstead London. My training was undertaken at Moorfields when I also studied at the Institute of Ophthalmology  where I gained an MD in Ocular Wound Healing. I also travelled to Perth Western Australia to complete an overseas training fellowship in Cataract, Cornea, Oculoplastics and Lacrimal diseases.

I started doing medicolegal work soon after first moving to Norfolk in 2004, and I am able to provide clear, objective, comprehensive and well structured Expert medical reports, which are evidence based and relevant to the legal context.

I completed the Bond Solon Expert Witness course (CUBS) - Cardiff University Civil Certificate - in Spring 2026.
